The Ju 88G-6 that was shot down by Lt. Clemmons on the 15th January 1945 was from the Luftwaffe night-fighter squadron, NJG 6 and was piloted by Ltn. Hans Junghans, whose Grandfather was the founder of the well known German clock company.  The JU 88G-6 was actually downed near Marktbreit in the vicinity of Würzburg.

Passed away on 25th February 2001, in Waco, McLennan County, Texas.

Awards
Memories Came from the same home town of Waco, TX, as fellow 38th pilot Jack Cunnick.  After Clemmons completed his tour, Cunnick flew Clemmons' "Huacoar", which is native American for 'Wacoan'
