20 March 1945 - Hit by flak near Flensburg and bailed out in Denmark. Evaded to Sweden, where Capt. Brown was interned.  Flown back to the UK in a B-24 to Scotland and returned to Wormingford on 10th April 1945. Returned to the States shortly after.
