"Crew Chief was Vincent W. Spencer, the Assistant Crew Chief was William H. Dodd, the Armorer was John J. Forde, and later Wilbur A. Mills.
P-51D   44-13743 - This P-51 taken over by Elmer Mercurio when I completed my tour.  The crew remained as above. Elmer named the P-51 "Skippy". He was later killed in a P-47 after the war."
