Entered service from price, Utah. ASN - 0-732225 24 June 1943 - Taxied into a pole at McChord Field, Washington and damaged right wing. 01 November 1943 - Promoted from 2nd Lieutenant to 1st Lieutenant 13 November 1943 - Missing in Action (Prisoner of War) MACR No. 01266 Capt. Charles O. Jones reported: "I last saw Lt. Goetzman when we were
turning in on an 8 ship attack of Me-109s. I was number 4 man, and
Lt. Goetzman was number 3. After that we split up and no one could
tell who was who. I didn't see him again in my flight. This
happened approximately over the target, Bremen, Germany, and just leaving
