Memories "I flew my first mission the day Col. Righetti was killed and finished with four before the war ended. Went to Kaufbeuren and finally got back home on July 4th in 1946." (C. Eder - May 2010)

"Spent some time looking at my history and ran into a funny error that really brought back memories. You have me making a trip to Brussels that was listed as a leave. In fact I went there to pick up some crockery and a truck load of decent wine for the officers club. The trip became one of my favorite stories when asked what we did after the war was over." (C. Eder - Jan 2015)
(Nb. see entry above for the 22 March 1946)
