02 February 1945 - Awarded 4th Oak Leaf Cluster to the Air Medal 07 February 1945 - Promoted from 1st Lieutenant to Captain Unfortunately there is no Missing Aircrew Member Report on Capt. Bradford. A good portion of the 338th Fighter Squadron historical files are missing. Bradford was reported to have crashed twenty miles east of Frankfurt, Germany and is now buried in California.
