'DUNCAN -- William Glenn "Bill," 82, died June 18, 2003. Born October 2, 1920 in Codys Bluff, OK. Grew up and attended high school in Shidler, OK. Served in WWII with the 38th Fighter Squadron. Returned home to marry his sweetheart, Faye Irene Martin, on December 9, 1945. Worked in tooling and engineering for American Airlines 35 years. After retirement, he spent every morning working out, spreading cheer, political opinions, his dry sense of humor and roses to his friends at All American Fitness Center. Every Sunday morning you could find him at Boston Avenue Methodist Church. Preceded in death by mother and father, Mary Ida and James Nathaniel Duncan of Nowata, OK; wife, Faye Irene Duncan; 3 brothers of Tulsa, Wes Duncan, H. Cal Duncan and Jim Duncan. He is survived by 3 daughters, Karen Haygood Duncan of Tulsa, Nicki L. Duncan and husband, William A. Goodwin of Grove, OK, Margie Duncan Davey and husband, Hal W. Davey of Mounds, OK; 3 grandchildren, Christy Horst and husband, Lee "Butch" Horst of Sperry, D. Erick Crowdus and wife, Stacey of Wichita, KS, and Roy Davey of Mounds, OK.; 5 great-grandchildren, Wesley, Zoe, Lily and Maxwell Crowdus of Wichita, KS and Maci Ellen Horst of Sperry, OK; many friends and loved ones. He blessed his family by setting an example of being a kind and loving earthly father.'
