Herb Lycan's Obituary
'Lycan, Herbert Glen, peacefully passed away September 22, 2009. He was born December 17, 1918 in Kalispell, Montana and moved to Santa Ana with his family at age 4. He graduated from Santa Ana Senior High School and Santa Ana Junior College, then went to work with the Southern Counties Gas Co. He enlisted in the Army in World War II and proudly served his country as an Ordinance and Armament Officer in England and Germany with the Army Air Corp 343rd Fighter Squadron 55th Fighter Group. After the war, he returned to his home and career and retired from The Gas Co. in 1982. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice and is survived by his former wife, Margaret; their daughter, Deborah and her husband, Mark Aird.'
